htc access file

Hi,

I am using a server which requires me to enter my student id and password (university server) I am working with a group of students that need access to the wordpress back end which is currently on my personal server. I have set up admin logins for them but it will not let them gain access to the wp-admin.php to login on the browser.

I know that I need an .htc access file but im not sure how I would make it so that they can login to wordpress without having to enter my details

any help would be grateful thank you
