Korean server, can't install, "entry.php on line 61" problem

Hi everyone,

I am new to wordpress and actually to setting up a blog.
I am using a Korean server. I connected to the server through FTP using filezila. I changed the wp-config.php file. I uploaded the wordpress file on the server. I then went to chrome and tried to access the install.php file. Then, I get a message like this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /home2/iscenter/www/wordpress/wp-includes/pomo/entry.php on line 61

Please help. I’m not sure what the problem is. The installation process seems to be much more difficult than I thought.
