Hello, i’m relatively new in WordPress, I chose the Edin template for my site, but i couldn’t make the following change in the INPUT SEARCH where it says “Buscar”, I haven’t found how to edit that placeholder.

First, I searched in the .php files, then in the .pot

If someone could tell me where to find the code line to make this change I’d appreciate it.

  • Hi caiocl, first, have you set your language settings to Spanish in Settings > General?

Could you provide a link to your site – preferably a page with that field on it – so I can take a look and point you in the right direction?

Thank you very much for answering, but I already solved the problem with the placeholder, creating a searchform and placing the placeholder that it needs.

I supposs that is the right settling.

Now, I have another problem. I’d like the featured images from the front page’s widgets to not appear when going to the corresponding site.

In the style.css file’s line 1930 I wrote the code’s line ( display: none; ) but it obviously makes the title (along with the featured image) dissapear, and I want that when opening the page the title appears without the big sized featured image.

Which could be the solution? What file could I modify? I was trying the content-hero.php file but it didn’t work out. “

    thanks

Hi there, if you can provide a link to the pages on which you want to hide the large featured image, I’d be glad to lend a hand. The code needed to target the specific pages will vary depending on a few factors, so it’ll be easiest if I can see the pages directly.
