• When someone submits the contact form 7 on my contact us page it gives the “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact administrator by other way.” I have contacted Godaddy, my host for the site and they were unable to determine what could be the issue.

    My website is: Littleshots.org

I think it has something to do with my DNS records specifically the MX & TXT. The email works fine but I think my website can not send outbound emails.

The email is TonyL@Littleshots.org, please help.

Here is the DNS information I have.

    MX (Mail Exchanger)
    Host: Txt Value: TTL:
    @ littleshots-org.mail.protection.outlook.com 10 Minutes

    TXT (Text)
    Host: Txt Value: TTL:
    @ NETORGFT977185.onmicrosoft.com 600 seconds
    @ v=spf1 include:spf.protection.outlook.com -all 10 Minutes
    admin v=spf1 a mx ptr include:secureserver.net ~all 1 Hour

  • Though the plugin successfully sends millions of emails every day, there are a host of issues that can stop or delay emails on both the sending and receiving ends. It depends entirely on your local Server & WordPress configuration. You will need to investigate this issue for your particular local configuration.

See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.

If you find you need more detailed advice, after reading and working through the above links, please include a link to your Contact Form 7 form plus all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface. This should allow others to understand your actual problem and offer a possible solution.
