I tested with two other e-mails. The results are the same. I tested with one Gmail and one Yahoo mail.

I just saw in another thread that the subscriber receives a confirmation e-mail before being added to my MailChimp list. However, there are no confirmation emails in all 3 email accounts I have used. I have checked the spam folder too.
I second that, was working, and now it’s not.

Sorry that you have encountered this issue, can you try creating a new MailChimp API key that you would only use on our Optin Cat form, then retry submitting an email address that is not apart of your Mailing list?
This may be delay within MailChimp API system as our plugin in simple terms, passes all information submitted by your form to your MailChimp API to handle email confirmations.
This may also be an issue with your Website CURL configuration that I’d recommend asking your WebHost to have a look to make sure it is configured/enabled properly.

I’ve been having the same issue, and tried contacting my WebHost, they assured me CURL was enabled and active.
I tried using a new Mailchimp API, I tried using 4 different email addresses.
My conclusion: after opt-in, the redirection works fine. However, there is no follow up email by mailchimp to the email address. Therefore, there is no subscription generated.
As the title says.
The APP doesn’t work. At least for a lot of us it doesn’t, because there are several posts with the same issue.

Sorry that you are having this issue but most of our customers are receiving their email optins correctly.
I’m not sure why your email optins are not reaching your MailChimp account to send the followup confirmation message but if you’d like us to look into this for you.
