Spamblock seems to fail when scripts not fully loaded yet

    Hi there,

    I found that Google servers have been very slow in the past weeks. Old analytics, fonts, maps, youtube videos, everything takes ages to load or fails completely.

    The issue with the new spam block is that it seems to fail when the page is still loading while the form is submitted. This seems to be a real issue if Google (or other servers) do not let the page finish loading in time.

    Any info/update would be appreciated.

    When you say the “spam block” are you talking about Goodbye Captcha? I’m not implementing any specific spam blocking in Seamless Donations, although the Goodbye Captcha plugin helps prevent spam submissions.

    Other than that, I’ll tell you I’ve had on and off again issues with Google over the years, but I live in Gmail and haven’t noticed anything particularly newly slow here.
