Hello,
Have you created a page and assigned it as your posts page? If not, you can do so by creating a new blank page, calling it Blog (or whatever you prefer), then navigate to Settings > Reading and assign it as your Posts Page.
This will now look and act as the blog in the demo.

I am not seeing any page errors or conflicts, however, I am unable to really offer much more assistance without login credentials if you have already completed the steps in my first response. Have you added the blog page to your menu and visited it in a browser? To me it doesn’t look like you have set up any blog page, just photo category archives.
I would just recommend double checking your setup. It is true that “standard” post formats will not show up on the home page as they will be your normal blog posts.
The Blog page is up and shows up correctly the example post i created (http://www.notdweller.com/blog/), but the very same post won’t appear on the Home page. I don’t know
I understand now. I must have misunderstood that you were unable to get the blog post to show up on your home page rather than a blog page.
You can add a blog post by navigating to Appearance > Widgets and placing the “MT – Home Posts” widget inside one of the Home Page widget areas.
I have the same problem with “resi”. Could you please explain to me how you solved the problem?
