ill run some test see if I can find a bug.
still working on this issue.
I have tried this and it is still not working. I remember trying both options before, but it works with neither.
My example of this is
Main page where i want to add documents to the end – http://www.gw-hs.org/exams/
and this is the code that works, but only when it is on its own page.
[mdocs cat=”Examination Documents”]
http://www.gw-hs.org/exams/examination-documents/
I have tried with single word folder names, still fails.
I have tried with lower case/uppercase etc. I have tried copying it directly from the folder settings page
As soon as i put the shortcode on the main page, it gives the white screen error.
I suggest turning on php errors see if there is any errors showing.
Turning on PHP errors. The only error that I get is
[18-Nov-2015 15:56:26 UTC] PHP Notice: Undefined variable: current_cat in D:\data\web\wp-content\plugins\memphis-documents-library\mdocs-dashboard.php on line 215
http://www.gw-hs.org/closure
yeah that is nothing. I’m still looking into it on my side.
Okay, thank you.
The site at the bottom of my last comment (www.gw-hs.org/closure) is currently experiencing the shortcode issue, i can leave the issue on that page if you need to test with it.
still working on this issue, no luck yet.
Did the 3.0.17 update fix this issue?
Unfortunately not. It appears to be something to do with PageBuilder and Memphis. Not sure whether its because pagebuilder puts its in frames?
I’ve created a dedicated page to this issue here, hope this helps.
http://www.gw-hs.org/test-with-pagebuilder/ – fails using pagebuilder
http://www.gw-hs.org/test-without-pagebuilder/ – works without Page Builder.
Does Page Builder cost money or is it a free plugin?
