    Hi, absolutely splendid plugin! I use it quite a bit on my Selfbuild-Central web site.

    I’m just not clear about whether Google sees content in the hidden text. I’ve done checks and it looks like when I search for hidden text and enclose it in quotation marks, e.g. “bit of hidden enclosed text”, then Google will find it. Otherwise it won’t

    Any ideas on this?

    Yes, google will index your hidden content as it is only hidden via javascript once the page fully loads. there are a number of threads on this forum where this issue has been answered in full detail.
