I am using Small Thumbs style blog with “Blog Post Meta” enabled so date and category show. But the author and a commenting icon also show, which I don’t want.

    Commenting:
In WordPress>Settings>Discussion, I have deselected allowing people to comment on new articles, yet on my posts the commenting icon still appears and when clicked offers the opportunity for commenting.

    Author Identification:
I am using this to post a company’s news posts, which should not have author attribution visible to readers.

Is there a way to achieve getting rid of these in the free version?
If not, is there a way to get rid of these in the paid version?

  • Hello Peter,

Right now there are no way of hiding the comment form & single author detail.

But it’s good that you have stated this so i will for sure add those things in Agama theme on next update.

The Agama Pro theme have a option to disable comment form globally on all articles/pages or you can disable the comment form on single article/page but there is no option in Agama Pro for disabling just author info in Post Meta but that is in our todo list so it will be implemented soon.

If you can be patient enough the Agama free version will be updated soon and you will be able to use the functions you want.

    Best Regards
