    I have found some historical posts (2-4 yrs ago) on this but nothing that seems to give a definitive answer.

    When an image is set as a featured image is there a way to prevent that image also being included at the end of the post? It is the one thing that makes what could be a perfect solution slightly untidy in the final presentation of a post.
