ANNOUNCEMENT: P2 Version 1.5.7 Now Available

    We’re pleased to announce that a new version of P2 is now available for download on the “Download P2” link here:
    http://p2theme.com/ (scroll down for the download link)

    Version 1.5.7 fixes numerous issues, including:

    • Add HTML5 form input styles
    • Add “p2_date_time_with_microformat” filter to allow date/time localization
    • Add theme showcase link in footer
    • Remove deprecated widget notices, now using PHP5 style constructors
    • Prevent textarea from automatically focusing on customizer preview
    • Prevent “Add Media” button from hiding in certain situations
    • Fix issue that required a refresh when publishing posts/replies
    • Fix issue that prevented the post title from displaying in certain situations
    • Fix clearing for gallery items

    Thank you to everyone who submitted bug reports for these issues.

    This update is not currently available from your dashboard, since P2’s special functionality means it can’t be uploaded to the WordPress.org theme showcase right now. You will need to install or update the theme manually via FTP..

    We are happy to let you know that v. 1.5.8 of P2 is now available on WordPress.org and the update should appear in your dashboard. It includes all the above, as well as a new fix:

    • Switch the order of esc_like/escape calls
