Going Live!

    Hi and thank you for your great plugin, I found it very useful.

    I have changed the theme of my site and added many new pages + plugins on the staging site. Now I want to go Live.

    Can i just cut and copy the staging folder into the main website (as seen on the picture)

    Do I need to do any changes in the “phpMyAdmin” because as u can see the Staging has created these new databases with the staging name?

    I would be grateful if you can do a step through guide on how to go live. I have been checking the forum but couldn’t find a right guide for it.

    Hi,

    at the moment, there is no way to automatically make these changes.

    If there are no database changes, its simple:

    – Copy all files located in the staging folder (excluding the wp-config.php!!!) back to the root folder of your main site.
    – Overwrite existing files. (Do a full backup of the main files first!!!)

    If there are additional DB changes:

    Use a tool like WP Migrate to copy back the database content or do the necessary db changes manually.
