do u have a link i could test? You should be able to include a css rule to fix that easily. e.g. set width:100% height:auto
No link as this is on my local host (wamp server). The images do not scale down like they should, and it might be something to do with WAMP, but I have never had this problem with other responsive themes I have tested and used. I will play with it more and see if I can find a solution.
So my child theme seems to be the problem, and I cannot figure out why. Using the actual Sparkling theme works fine. I activate my child theme and nothing scales down when the browser viewport size is reduced. At full viewport size, the theme displays properly. I cleaned out all css modifications from my child theme and it still doesn’t work. It is something on my end and not a theme problem. I will bang on things until I get it to work as I do like the theme.
OK, it was my functions.php file. I was not loading the parent theme correctly. SOLVED!
Hi @jimbobjoejack,
Awesome great to see you got that solved.
Please advise if you have more questions.
Have a fantastic day!

Hi, just found this topic when searching info about why my header image is not scaling properly untill it “jumps” to the mobile size. Then it starts scaling normally. I am using InstantWP, not online version.
I am so beginner that I don’t even know what is “featured image”.
And secondly, is this Sparkling theme capable of handling affiliate marking links?
Hi @kauno,
To help keep support thread separates could you please create your own thread for your question here https://wordpress.org/support/ instead of replying on others thread as it makes the thread messy and hard to read. Also as per the Forum Welcome, you should post your own topic here.
Best Regards,
Movin
