Header Issues – Intergalactice theme

Hello all,

I am working on the intergalactic them and am wanting have a header with no overlay text, no graphic fade on image, and to increase the height of the header image.

I have turned off the over lay text on the header image, but I cannot figure out how to remove the fade that dulls my graphic, as well as how to have the header maintain the same high as when the header text is included.

If you are able to help I would greatly appreciate it, thank you!
