You should not need to create any additional folders for plug ins? They will come with what is needed. If it is alot of files upload the whole folder, if it is just one file upload that in the wp-content/plugins/ folder.
If you are doing it this way and are having trouble using the dashboard after activating the plug ins, than there could be a conflict with the plug in and the version of WP you are using. Make sure that you are using the latest version of each.
can someone please give a step by step advice on wp_content/plugins upload issue. I am familiar with uploading and i have already downloaded pluggins that i need.
But uploading the pluggin is where the problem is. There is no file showing on my remote site (filezilla). where do i upload to. how do i make wp_content available on filezilla so i can upload it. This is headache. Please help.
