Adjust Default Blog Post Layout?

    Hello Team Virtue!

    Presently, my default blog post layout is comprised of:

    FEATURED IMAGE
    POST TITLE
    AUTHOR/COMMENT COUNT
    POST CONTENT

    I’m interested in adding an Advertising Unit above the FEATURED IMAGE, so that it appears between the Header and the FEATURED IMAGE.

    Is there an easy way to make this addition? And, could you please point me to the appropriate file to edit in my Child theme?

    Hey,
    You can use the templates/content-single.php file. You would need to make a templates folder in your child theme and you just need to add that one file into the folder.

    Terrific, thanks for that! I’m in the file, but having just a little trouble deciphering the code. Can point me to the line where I’d want to paste my ad unit code, so that it appears directly above the post’s FEATURED IMAGE?
