Replace Twenty Thirteen Banner

    I am trying to replace the banner in the Twenty Thirteen template. When I click on Header Image > Add New Image, I can upload the image I want at 1600×230. Once uploaded, I click on Select and Crop at the bottom right it comes up with the crop image window but just hangs. It never shows the image I just uploaded.

    Thanks for getting back with me.

    That is pretty much the way I am doing it. However, after uploading my image that is 1920×1080 and 72dpi jpeg. I can never get past the “Select and Crop” page, it just hangs and it doesn’t show the image I just uploaded. I have tried Chrome and IE web browsers. In IE, I just get a small black “x” at the top of the page. In Chrome, I just get a small blue image at the top left of the screen.

    I can edit the image from within the media gallery ade edit it just fine. It just hangs when trying to do it while changing the banner.

    Hi tdarsey,

    It could possibly be a plugin conflict issue. Could you try disabling all your plugins and then try upload the image again? If the issue then fixes itself, activate your plugins one at a time to work out which plugin is causing the conflict.
