images flip on iPhone

    Built a WooCommerce site using Virtue theme. Looks great on desktop, Windows touchscreen/tablet, and Android smartphones. But on iPhones, some (not all) photos turn sideways and/or are distorted. We’ve looked at offending photos, and they are similar in size to all our photos. Not sure where else to look. In any case, since all photos look great everywhere except iPhone, we’re thinking it’s a bug and not a setting. Site is accentsetc.com. A few examples of ‘bad’ product photos (flip or distort on iPhone only) are All White Flowers, Autumnal Basket, and Best Wishes.

    Hey,
    Try re-saving these images in a photo editing program so it’s got all the correct info for the jpg. Does that make sense?

    Thanks Hannah. Yes, it does. The client created the offending photos (but also a lot of ‘good’ ones), so I’ll have to do some re-con to find out what she’s doing. She’s pretty savvy. In any case, it’ll take us a couple days, to fiddle around and talk back and forth. So I’ll report back, probably next week to see if we’ve resolved things.

    Yes! We re-saved the ‘bad’ photos and now they’re fine. Not sure what was done to create ‘bad’ photos yet. But the fix was easy. Thanks for your help.
