    Hi andrewrunion,

    Could you please:
    1) send link on your site (if it is possible)
    2) turn on WordPress debug mode (https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress, add to wp-config.php -> define(‘WP_DEBUG’, true);)
    3)install and activate our plugin
4)If you have following error “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING” after the plugin installation, please check PHP version on your server. Minimum required PHP version – 5.3.0.
    5) If your have other errors, copy and paste these errors here (if you do not provide link on the site)
    6) remove plugin files
    7) turn off debug mode

We will check that it can be.

    Hi Alexxandro,

Could you please make steps that described above and let us know about the results.

We’re interested to fix this issue. You can post information here or send directly via support@webcodin.com.

We’re waiting on information from you!

    debug set in wp-config.php: true
    php ver : 5.6.10
    Re(installed plugin): ok
NO debug error and the system run ok.
I retry all the steps in my localhost site: no error.
Now for me it’s a mystery: this morning all backend was down.
PS: i don’t know if it can be just a my impression, but the problem seems to be at start, before activating the plugin: when i download a plugin via WordPress GUI (generally all is ok), each time i download WCP OpenWeather, the system “struggles” a lot and, after activation, crash.
I’hope to be useful for you. (Sorry i haven’t log or debug string for you)
    Alexxandro.

    Alexxandro,

Some people also have similar issues, but unfortunately we can’t replicate it on our development equipment and several external hostings. Seems it can be server-based issue, so we ask all possible debug information in this situation, perhaps it can help to replicate and fix it.

Thanks for provided additional information and your help. We really appreciate it!

    with kind regards,
    WordPress WebCodin Team
