Webpage cannot be found?

    I installed wordpress once already. Then when I went to login, it said my password wouldn’t work. I suppose this is the same as the mysql user I made in the database I made for wordpress. anyways, I tried to retrieve my password, but after it said the new password would arrive in my email inbox, well it never, and it still has not. Not sure whats up with that. anyways,

    I deleted all the wordpress files out of the domain. THen I put them back in, and proceeded to reinstall everything again. But this time, when I type in the address in the bar to install, all I get is this page does not exist. I’ve tried deleting and uploading the files back into the domain over and over again, in different ways, putting them in different directories. Everything, but nothing is working. I just keep getting this page does not exist. When I just type in the domain name, it comes to my hosts page that says this site is under construction, but as soon as I type in the install address I just get this page does not exist.

    Does anybody have any suggestions?

    You might want to look at this. The Install4Free folks would be glad to help install for free as their name implies, if this blog is for personal use.

    Well it’s kinda for a business. I want to post funny things and stuff on it, and then sell advertising space once I can get enough traffic. So I’ll probably have to figure it out if the Install4Free guys only do personal blogs.

    May want to check with your webhost as most of them have autoinstallers for wordpress as well. If you’re using CPanel or Direct Admin, chances are you have an autoinstaller.

    Yeah Install4Free is only for personal blogs, not blogs for a company.

    Yup, should be within the EasyApp application on your backend.

    edit: Hmm, well it used to be in there. I don’t see it listed any more. That’s weird….

    reedit: Yes, it’s in there. Third on that list.
