Try switching to the default theme.
Switching to the default theme is not really an option on a live and constantly used website.
I have to add, we’ve also just added this recaptcha to another website usinf CF7 without this issue, so I assume it is down to the theme (which was built a long time ago, from scratch by someone else).
How does the plugin add the js file to the header? Where can I find it in the code of the plugin?
I might be able to update the theme to work correctly with it, instead of just adding the line I did to the header file.
I think I found it.
The theme wasn’t calling wp_footer in the footer.php
Fixed it now.

Experiencing a weird issue on GD server where Captcha displays on form.
IF I enter the code on the form the first try, it says invalid code. I try the new code, and it works?

Have you seen this before ?
Was able to successfully remove the RSC and installed the Google Captcha, once I changed out the short code all is working.
It would be nice for the next time you update the CF7 plugin to add a note somewhere with the link in that integration tab, so that others would know you have to DL and install that plugin. I had been up for some 30 hours and did not catch that and fumbled around a bit. So in essence documentation could be a bit better.
In fact that option should not even be available (grayd out) as long as you have the RSC plugin installed and activated. Just sayin…:)
