SendPress Subscribe Widget Not Working

I have installed SendPress, created a list and a form. I have added the SendPress Widget to my Footer and it looks as it should – just name and email. However when I input a name and email address and click to Submit I just get the timer spinning and nothing ever happens.

I tried using the SendPress Widget and I tried putting the code for the form in a text widget.

Neither works.
