    I would like to display a thumbnail featured image next to each post for the Press Release and Press Coverage posts. So when I use the nooz shortcode, it would pull the ate and title like it does now, but also show the thumbnail featured image for each. Is this possible? Where can I edit the plugin code to add a featured image option? Thanks.

    Currently this feature is unsupported.

    It will be added in the very near future (it is in the works).

    However, currently you can accomplish this with a hack by adding raw HTML into the excerpt area. If you do proceed, there may be a drawback, when we do release this feature, you may have to go back and re-edit the hack in order to use the intended feature properly.

    Here is an example of HTML in the excerpt:

    <img src="https://s.w.org/style/images/wp-header-logo-2x.png" alt="WordPress"/>
    <p>Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Pellentesque tortor orci, porta vitae eleifend eu, scelerisque a ex.</p>

    I will follow up here when this feature gets release, let me know how you fare 😉

    Thank you for your reply and suggestion. 🙂

    While this does work to display an image in the Excerpt are (below the title), I would like it to be in a different display order:
    3 columns – Publication Logo | Date | Title

    Before your reply, I used Advanced Custom Fields to create an image field for the nooz posts. I just needed to add the ACF code to the nooz page template. Where can I edit the template for the nooz posts list view? Is there a safe way to override this within my theme?

    Thanks!

    There isn’t a safe way currently (meaning something that will be forward-proof).

    I think I will be able to add some filters so that you can easily make modification, let me confirm and I should be able to get this done later today.

    If you can figure something out and it’s not too difficult, that’s great. Otherwise I can probably just insert the image in the Excerpt like you suggested, and then code it with css to make it display properly, as a workaround for now. Thanks!
