• Hi,

I am coming from Joomla and am trying to get a client to preview certain pages, menu items, and the associated widgets on these pages. In Joomla I can set up access for the new page to say “administrator”, and once the “administrator” is logged into the front end the new page/menu item is ONLY visible to the logged in administrator, and is NOT VISIBLE to the general public, or logged in general users.

How do I do this in WordPress?? Is it possible?

    Hi,

There’s no built in feature for this (most people would be using a dev/staging/production setup for this, and not the actual site).

We do have the Customizer which lets you preview changes to menus, widgets, themes and so forth, but it’s a live preview before you commit changes, and not a shareable preview.

There might be plugins for this, but I’ve never heard of one.

Logged in users can view previews though, on each page/post there’s a link to preview changes made to a revision or draft.
