My understanding is that digital products automatically use shipping code “F”, for free shipping. See point #10 here: http://quirm.net/wiki/eshop/setting-up-using-eshop/creating-products/
Thanks, I see now that downloads must be created separately in eshop->downloads and once they are created they can be added to the options.
I bought a test download product but I didn’t get any indication or any emails to download the product.I got an email from paypal but no link to the product. Is there something else I have to do to make the download product work as expected?
Is the transaction marked as complete within eShop?
I did eventually get the email with the link to download the product, 12 hours later.
We have known it take up to 3 days for Paypal to contact the site with a successful transaction code. There is nothing eShop can do about this. The delay is at Paypal’s end.
I got the email from paypal with the transaction code soon after I made the purchase. The delayed email was the email with the link to the download products. I’m not saying it was because of eshop, I don’t know what causes the delay.
