Place Order Button and PayPal Identity Token
-
I’m preparing a WooCommerce store to (hopefully) go live soon. I hope to eventually use PayPal Advanced with your plugin, but I don’t think you will be finished with the Advanced incorporation before I am hoping to go live. In the meantime, I’m thinking of using the PayPal Express option of your plugin. I especially like that it gives me the option of sending customers to the Billing page rather than the Login page as the WooCommerce built-in PayPal option does.
I have a couple questions/requests regarding your plugin’s Express option. At checkout, is it possible to have the button display “Proceed to Payment” or “Proceed to PayPal” rather than “Place Order” as it does currently? “Place Order” doesn’t seem appropriate when the customer hasn’t actually entered payment info yet. “Place Order” is usually displayed after all information has been entered and the final order is ready for submission.
Also, is it possible to incorporate PayPal Identity Token functionality into your plugin’s Express option? I am selling a few downloadable items and I’ve been reading that enabling the Identity Token makes it more likely the customer will be given their download link after PayPal payment is complete.
If I do use your plugin rather than WooCommerce’s built-in version, I do NOT plan to check the “Skip Final Review” box on the settings page. Maybe leaving the final review option enabled eliminates the need for the Identity Token?
