Hi there, am building a fairly complicated (for me at least) WordPress site for investment funds.

    1. Some of the data will be pulled from a CSV file on the server that is updated every 3 hours to display daily fund prices. Am using wpdatatables for this.

    2. I have a price chart comparison feature that pulls prices from the database and a CSV that is supposed to add on to the database periodically. eg: http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/fundinfo/chartCenter_switch.svdo

Will this get interference from Wordfence?

Please advise, really not sure of which way to go in terms of security and caching. Also if I should get premium of just stick with the free version. Thank you.

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

Of course, the answer to your question is yes 🙂

If your CSV file is outside of your WordPress install, then Wordfence will not scan for it by default. If the CSV file is in your WordPress install, you could exclude it from getting scanned. You should be good there.

You can always start with the free version. We are not permitted to discuss the Premium version here due to WordPress forum rules. You can check out the differences at our website.

Thanks for your interest in Wordfence!

    Hey Brian

Thanks so much for your quick reply. Will give the free one a shot first.
