error on loading openweather | WordPress.org

I tried to load the awesome weather widget on my site but I get an error: Failed to connect to api.openweathermap.org port 80: Connection timed out

Can somebody help me to see whats wrong

Most of the time this is an issue with OpenWeatherMap and their API. It usually comes back around. If you want to clear the cache to see if that helps you can follow the steps on this page: https://halgatewood.com/docs/plugins/awesome-weather-widget/clearing-weather-cache

Also make sure you have an API Key added: https://halgatewood.com/docs/plugins/awesome-weather-widget/register-for-an-openweathermap-api-key-appid
