Well that is something I definitely missed. Thank you for pointing this out. I will apply the fix to the next update, but in the meantime, you can open the comments.php file and delete line 25:
<p class="nopassword"><?php esc_html_e( 'This post is password protected. Enter the password to view any comments.', 'longevity' ); ?></p>
That will be deleted in the next update.
Yes, I have been trying to resolve this same issue.
Hi Cindy…apply the same solution as I posted and you should be fine with that. My next update is probably about 2 weeks away that will have this.

Hello,
It looks like since the one of the last versions of Longevity it always displays “Post is password protected. enter the password to view comments” while the comments are still show below.
Even on the demo page:
