Hi, editing core files like you did is a bad practice.I suggest you remove the file (if this is the only edit you made) and try to login again(find the original problem and fix it).
Here are some links to help you

Hi,
Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure to delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.
Ok, I went back in and deleted that file and it brought me back to my previous problem, when trying to get to the log in screen I get this message:
Warning: require_once(/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/post.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 46
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/post.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home/readingedge/public_html/sa/wp-admin/includes/admin.php on line 46
I disabled all plugins on FTP but that did not fix it.
**Before this I had a different wp-includes error in post.php:1 which showed up when I hit Log In on the admin screen. I read some related articles that suggested making sure the code ended in ?>. It did not so I changed it in notepad and replaced the post.php which then brought me to the error above.
I feel like I am going around in circles with no fixed that work. I havent been able to get into my admin panel properly for almost 2 weeks now.
which version of the file do you have at the moment? which version of WP do you have?
is this post.php file the original file or modified?
you can also disable your current theme and revert to a default one(if you have one) like 2013,2014.
to do that with ftp rename your current theme to something else. You can try this too.
for me the best thing to do is to, export your database, reinstall WP and import your database back, but it is better to find someone that can do this for you.

I have decided to have someone do this for me. Can anyone recommend a reliable and safe provider that I can safely give my information to?
Right now I was looking at fiverr.com under WordPress support.
