Hi AFX,
Thanks for using my plugin. You can achieve the look you want by setting the style to accordion. For example:
[faq style=accordion]

Hi John,
You’re welcome, it’s a great plugin!
I’ve tried your suggested method but the boxes are still showing like this: http://postimg.org/image/5fwbrj9qr/
… where more than one box can be opened at once.
The functionality I’m looking for is like the accordian on this page: http://www.joomlanook.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=104&Itemid=73
… where another box opening closes the box that is currently open.
Is this possible?
Thanks in advance,
AFX
It is very possible. You can see how the accordions are supposed to work here: http://demo.arconixpc.com/arconix-faq/#accordion
The latest image you posted makes it look like there’s some kind of javascript conflict which is why the accordions aren’t collapsing. If you look at the javascript console — CTRL + Shift + J on Chrome for Windows or Cmd + Opt + J on Chrome for Mac — you can see what errors are being fired. If you post the link I can take a look too.

Hope this helps,

As far as I can tell, the superfly-menu plugin is overriding the default accordion behavior and that’s why when you open a second accordion the first doesn’t close. Unfortunately I don’t know anything about that plugin or how to resolve the conflict short of disabling that plugin.

Not to worry John, these things happen,
I’ll contact Super-fly’s developers and see if they can assist with this issue.
Thank you for your help,
