Hi Dustin,
I have replied to your support ticket.
Please get back to me.
Thank you!
Hello,
A public reply would be helpful.
Thanks
Hi aureliendebord,
The page full of gibberish after clicking the download button means your server is not supporting .wpress mime type – when the mime type does not exist, the server will default to serving the file as text.
Thus, you may need to right click and save link as instead of clicking the download button or you can also download the file via FTP (wp-content/ai1wm-backups).
Oh thanks for the explanation. I will attempt to revise my review. You might want to add a warning in the app to set expectations.
Thank you for the suggestions, ericthomson.
We will see what we can do in the future versions of the plugin.
Hello, I think I am having the same problem as above. When I click DOWNLOAD LOCALHOST I get a page of error messages about MIME.
When I right click instead and select ‘save link as’, and click OK, I get an error message on the download (in Chrome), ‘Failed – No file’.
I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong! Any tips?
Thank you in advance.
Hi jessicakennedy,
You can download the backup you have exported from wp-content/ai1wm-backups instead.
You are very welcome, jessicakennedy.
