Hide content on past events conditional shortcode

    Dear Graham, thank you very much for this great plugin.
    I’d like to hide the ‘Join us’ and the ‘Login’ buttons on past events. To achieve this I installed the ‘Conditional Tags Shortcode’ plugin and added the following shortcode: [if is_post_type_archive] don’t show these buttons [/if]
    The short code does not seem to work, Is the post type for past events ‘Archive’ and what would you suggest as an alternative?

    Can’t help with the conditional tags shortcode issue but I can easily add a filter to the plugin to remove all links from archive events.

    Not sure about the login button though – that’s not part of the plugin.
