When I go to make a comment on my blog, I get the following message:
WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away] SELECT * FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_ID = 6
WordPress database error: [MySQL server has gone away] SELECT comment_status FROM wp_posts WHERE ID = 27
Also, when someone tries to register, they never received a password by email. Can anyone out there please HELP me resolve this.
Thank you very much!

A quick search for that specific error shows that this may be your solution: http://www.openadvent.com/blog/?p=30
You’d have to check with your mail servers logs to see what is occuring on the email question.
