    Hi,

Every time I create a new page and try to view it, I get an error saying that the page cannot be found. I think this problem started to happen after I fiddled with the settings of the permalinks… I can’t really remember how I fiddled with it though 😛

I’m very new to WordPress and tech-y stuff in general, so I really appreciate your help… Preferably in non-jargon English! 🙂

    Thanks in general!

  • Hi,

make sure you select ‘postname’ and resave your permalinks. If you have any plugins disable them in case of a conflict.

    Hi,

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, it didn’t work. But I did notice something else… When I change the setting of the permalink back to “Default”, then I can make new pages without any problems. So I guess the problem is not that I can’t make new pages, but that I can’t change the permalinks from the default setting. Would you any ideas on how I can fix this? Thanks a million!
