It’s common to have this problem on one page & not others. Different JavaScript may be loading on different pages as plugins should ideally only load JavaScript on relevant pages.
Thanks davmerit – how do I solve this problem?
See Contact Form 7 Email Issues. There is a link at the bottom of the page to a comprehensive and detailed article which covers many issues. Most people that work through this information appear to be able to resolve their email sending & receiving issues.
If you find you need more detailed advice, after reading and working through the above links, please include all your input in the Form and Mail sections of the CF7 interface. This should allow others to understand your actual problem and offer a possible solution.
I am certain this is not an SMTP issue or a spam issue – the other forms on the site send fine to the same email address.
Here’s how I modified the settings in the problem form – perhaps you can see the problem?

Seems everything looks fine with the form inputs. Kindly ensure that the email address used in the From: field in the mail sechtion is the same as what one used in the other working forms.

The red error is 100% an SMTP issue. It means the server rejected your email. If you can’t figure out why, install this plugin and check the email log to see what the error is when submitting the form. Just like the FAQ says. You can set the plugin to localhost, port 25 if you want to mimic your current setup.

Hey gang – thanks for the responses.
I went with trial-and-error. The language I used seemed to be the culprit. nothing with the word “Quick” or “Quote” or even “Estimate” could be used. What a pain. Thanks for your responses – you helped me narrow it down.
