you can try using the excerpt box, open your post and at the top right you should see the ‘screen options’, open it and enable the excerpt.Not sure if your theme supports it though
I used the read more tag.It hide the message under it but didn’t show the read more tag in the post.Is there any option to change in theme.I used some functions in functions.php file but it didn’t work.Is there any full-proof way to do it please help
depends on the theme, which one do you have? and have you talked with the authors of your theme?
I am using minamaze,No I have not talked with them.Where I can talk or chat with them?

this is the author of your theme, i installed the theme and the read more and the excerpt work fine, you can check if you need to update your theme and WP or if there is a plugin conflict.
I made a mistake.I didn’t use any child theme unfortunately.this why I can’t update it now.Is there any way to change in the theme options like functions.php,single.php to show the read more button in the post.please need some suggestions
if you know what your mods are, you can write them down and re apply them or else you will keep on having this kind of problems.
you can also make a dummy site and test your updates before they go live.
