ReCaptcha v2 and Login problems

This is not a question but a solution.
FIRST Recaptcha v2 does not work with older site keys!

I have had problems logging into WordPress when I chose ReCaptcha V2.
I received an error message “invalid domain for site key”

I could not login into WordPress. Found a work around on a WordPress forum here:

It said:
If you want to deactivate it, do as suggested above – use FTP to access the files on the server and rename that folder inside the plugins folder –

wp-content
plugins
recaptcha-login – RENAME or DELETE THIS FOLDER

It seems ReCaptcha v2 does not work with older site keys. I had to delete the old one and get new keys for my site. Then go back into WordPress and change the site keys in all the settings and plugins that requested it to the new site keys.

To be safe save the old and new keys in a document in case you need them. It also makes it easy to retrieve to paste into places you need it.
