problem with rewrites on htacess file

    I noticed my htaccess file is getting many rewrite rules that are all the same. I think it changed every time I refresh and change my permalinks. I was doing some changed and testing things. Is this normal and will I just need to clean it up after I am done making my changes?

    Then where do you put your redirects for SEO? You have to make changes to it. The problem I have is I am getting this.

    This is wired. For WordPress permalink, you just need one block as follow:

    # BEGIN WordPress
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
    RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
    </IfModule>
    # END WordPress

    It’s really strange why it is adding new rules each time.
