sticky video dropdown?

Is it possible in wordpress to add sticky video dropdown. I would like to emulate the version at http://www.nowness.com When you play video on nowness and continue to scroll down the site it continues to play via a sticky dropdown. Please at the very least guide me to where I can learn how to do this. Am I in the right place?
