moves folder with same name to currently synchronized folder

if a folder named abc exists at the root, and you make a new folder xyz/abc and you synch, the abc (root folder) will be moved to xyz/abc with all its files,
this happens if you synch twice, first time if I synch all is ok but if I synch another time folder are moved telling me that some categories has changed.

very awkward behavior took my many hour to figure out.
