Plugin Installation fails

    Dear Pascal,

    I’ve tried several times to install today and always get this error:

    Das Plugin kann nicht aktiviert werden, da es einen fatalen Fehler erzeugt.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/iq-block-country/libs/blockcountry-settings.php on line 1491

    Any idea what to do please?

    Hi,

    It seems your PHP version does not support Curl. So you can contact your web hosting provider.

    If you’re comfortable editing the files you could delete the check that needs curl.

    I will alter the plugin so it checks first if curl is available as my assumption as that most web hosting companies would support curl 🙂 My bad

    Just took this issue as a trigger to update my Server installation. Will report if it works later.

    Okay, if you added cURL to your PHP then installing this plugin should work anyway

    Was able to activate it now, will have a look into the setup 🙂
