Are you specifying particular images for Facebook, Twitter, and Google+, including paying attention to the recommended image sizes, in the social tab of our plugin in the editor page when you create the post/page?

no luck, keeps picking sidebar ad image :/
I’m still having no luck sharing my posts on twitter, the image doesn’t show. I also tried the twitter validator, and it says things are ok.
Any ideas?

Hi MissJaki,
I suspect that your image provided is MUCH too large and the web crawler is just ignoring it.
Just for the sake of a test, would you please try updating the post with a small 200×200 pixel image, in the twitter image field, and then test it with the validator after saving the changes?
