Google Map Search Field

Not sure if this is the right spot but…

I’m looking to set up a page that has a single address search field, that when submitted links to another page with that location on an embedded google map.

Anyone have an idea of how I can do this (keeping in mind I have some experience developing sites but not an expert by any means!)

If it helps, I’m using X Theme for my site.
