Hey just fixed it! Sorry about the trouble… We included a PHP 5.5 function that’s not fixed for lower PHP versions.

Please upgrade to 1.3.0.1 and you shouldn’t have anymore issues.

    Hi Devin,

Just updated to 1.3.0.1 but I’m still seeing a similar issue, locked out of dashboard.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/michae00/staging/3/wp-content/plugins/give/includes/admin/shortcodes/class-shortcode-button.php on line 129

    I’m running PHP 5.6.13

Same here… even after you fixed the php I’m getting the error on line 304. I had to delete it for now because it’s shutting down the page on one of my clients’ website πŸ™

@michaelnorth – fix coming for that in a moment.

Hey @sfrancis261 can you post the exact error you’re seeing?

OK… I went back and re-installed it to get you the error message. It installed, but it won’t activate now with this message:

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/41/5705241/html/wp-content/plugins/give/includes/admin/shortcodes/abstract-shortcode-generator.php on line 304

Thanks for your support!!! You’re awesome!

Thanks for digging. I believe I have a fix ready for it but just want to confirm before pushing it out. Can you email me directly at support at givewp.com?

Sorry… so SORRY! GoDaddy just informed they are running 5.3 as version 2 is no longer supported. Hope this helps

I’ll email you right now πŸ™‚
