Left sidebar remains on top in mobile. Have tried several CSS customization’s with and without the (box) checked in the customizer for “dynamic sidebar reordering” under sidebar/responsive settings. My website is http://www.therealstrategy.com.

Videos also don’t seem to be resizing in mobile. I have tried several CSS tricks for that and have yet to succeed. This may not be the right place for this, but I figured some more educated and familiar coders would be here.

    Thanks for any help.

    I looked over this: http://presscustomizr.com/snippet/media-queries-responsiveness/

Though none of the sizes seemed to make a difference.

  • Hi,

I just tried it on my localhost, it’s working properly.
My left sidebar in iPhone view was after my content.

Perhaps you can try removing one plugin at a time to find out any conflicting plugin. Or remove all your custom css codes, just to ensure that there is no syntax error.

As for your videos. I don’t think media queries can resize videos properly, I recommend trying out this script https://github.com/davatron5000/FitVids.js

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Sorry, I just did a Vimeo video embed test post on my localhost.
It’s responsive in my iPhone. Please see screenshot. http://prntscr.com/8lafzh

Perhaps it’s a plugin conflict that’s breaking your responsiveness.

    Thanks!

I am using youtube videos. Also, wordpress automatically creates the video by posting the youtube link (without any iframe or parameters). I am wondering if this has something to do with it. Although the problem seems to exist under both circumstances(whether or not i add the iframe).

Sorry I didn’t include more specifics before.

So after testing everything I could think of…

Renaming my plugins folder, effectively disabling them all.

Still had the problem with sidebar reordering. Sidebar remained on top.

    I removed every widget.

    Still had the problem.

I deleted all of my custom CSS and PHP.

    Still had the problem.

I changed themes. I was using a “Child Theme for Customizr” so I switched to the parent theme.

    Still had the problem.

When I deleted all of the code in the sidebar which was just images and links…And “Google Adsense” script. The problem ceased. So now I have no Adsense ads in my sidebar due to the intrusiveness of them being on top for mobile devices.

    Problem SOLVED.

PS. Links and images work fine. I may find a way to get Adsense back in the sidebar in the future but if anyone else knows how I would appreciate a tip kemmettchris@gmail.com …Thanks

    Thanks for the update Chris.
