thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

This is indeed caused by the data type. “2 GB” and “10 GB” will be treated as strings and not as number, and those are sorted differently.

With the DataTables Sorting Plugins Extension, you are on the right track. You will just have to add a “Custom Command” on the table’s “Edit” screen similar to the example on the Extension’s web page.

you can use the same approach there, just extend the "targets" list with the correct columns number (counting starts with 0!).
