Some gallery features can be modified for IE 8 compatibility and some doesn’t. Send me link to the page with the gallery, I’ll check gallery configuration and tell you is it possible or not.

Unfortunately Internet Explorer 8 does not support transform and translate properties, which we are using in our gallery effects. So we can not make gallery compatible with I.E. 8 for you.

When I use the plugin in internet explorer, all other links on the page are not working, not even the main menu.
In Chrome and Mozilla everything works fine.
Any ideas or fixes?
