Hey there!

I did a brief search through the topics and didn’t see “SSL” anywhere.

After a purchase completes and PayPal goes to send the buyer back to the website, the browser gives a security warning (most likely a result of going from HTTPS to HTTP).

Is there no way to resolve this, other than getting an SSL certificate for the website?

When using PayPal Standard, SSL is not required, but SSL is always recommended for all e-Commerce stores, regardless of the payment method used.

Enabling SSL on your checkout and receipt pages will resolve the browser warning you’re seeing.

The site is using PayPal Standard … but this is the message that appears after a successful purchase.

Only way to fix this: get an SSL certificate?

Yes, you will have to get an SSL certificate to remove that.
